Jackrabbit Program

Jackrabbit Program (Youth)

The Jackrabbit youth program uses fun to teach children cross-country skiing techniques. Technical ski instruction is mixed into the fun and games so kids develop skills, a love of the outdoors, friendships, a healthy lifestyle, and physical fitness. This national program is a proven method for learning how to cross country ski. There are over 10,000 participants Canada-wide, and there’s a long list of provincial, national, and international level athletes who started out in the program. A Junior Development/Challenge group provides instruction, training and racing opportunities for older teens. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate at every level of the Jackrabbit program – organizing, teaching, or just plain having fun with the kids!
